  About UsPillars of Legacy
The Pillars of Legacy Minimize

Our business plan is built on four pillars: character, quality, safety and delivery.  These pillars are our foundation for a stable business and assist us in continually focusing on the basic principles and long term vision for our company.  They also allow us to benchmark our progress based on the value we provide to the people who are vital to the success of the enterprise: our customers, suppliers and employees.

4 - Pillars Of Legacy Minimize
Character – What we choose as individuals shapes the perspective people have of Legacy. Because actions do speak louder than words, our consistency of purpose in following the golden rule must resist compromise. It is of paramount importance that we do what we say we will do.
Quality – In an industry that has grown rapidly, there is pressure to hurry. The ramifications of this can generally be found in the area of quality. The sacrifice of quality for quantity is unacceptable and we pledge not to bow to that pressure. “Perfect is better than early.” That’s a phrase you’ll hear a lot around our shop, office and warehouse. Our customers deserve our best work.
Safety – Safety cannot be quantified as an investment. The investment involves so much more than money and the returns are far greater than financial rewards. Our investment in training is evident simply from the number of certifications held by our employees. But the true yardstick of effectiveness is content people practicing safe behavior in their everyday duties. This can only be accomplished by a top down focus that requires the investment of time by each individual member of our staff.
Delivery – Any product or service in the marketplace, which is of value, must be at the right place at the right time. As the place or time move away from the expectation of the client, the value decreases. It is the desire of Legacy to deliver the highest quality on the time scale anticipated by the customer, and at the highest level of quality. A good deal ends with the satisfaction of not only our clients, but our employees, subcontractors and suppliers. That encompasses the essence of the motto; “Under Promise . . . Over Deliver”.

History Minimize

Find a niche that is not wide, but very deep.  We at Legacy followed that advice, but rather than deep we went tall.  Our tower erection business is at the roots of our company's history. Since 1999 Legacy's founders have been active in the tower business and began the venture from scratch. But in the 1970's we were doing power transmission lattice towers across Northern Minnesota and setting big equipment in substations near Superior National Forest.

Legacy has developed its own personality that has been shaped by all the people involved, not just a single character.  The sum of all those parts has yielded a new level of customer service and safety because we want to treat our customers suppliers and co-workers as we ourselves would like to be treated.  It sounds kind of old fashioned and corny, but it is true.

The "golden rule" is as true today as it was in biblical times.

Future Minimize
At Legacy we vigorously try to look farther down the road than most businesses. We are not governed by quarterly fiscal results or trends that are chic. We are conservative in our investment, but invest heavily in our people and the technology they use. Because of our consistent growth and vertical expansion, geographic expansion is slower and approached cautiously.  Our Ritzville branch was chosen because it lies in the middle of several secondary markets allowing us a clear advantage in the rural arena.

We are in the planning stages of further to both the south and the east.  South of us lies a market that is continuing to ask for our presence.  To that end, we are expecting to open for business just south of the Portland, OR market. To our east, Idaho and Montana have been with reach of our Ritzville branch, but we like our guys home at night, so . . . well, you can do the math.

When the time is right and we have groomed the staff to give our existing clients the Legacy service they have come to expect, we will make an announcement. Until that time we will continue the course of prudent, profitable and productive that has served us well thus far.
